New screenshots from Monster Hunter Frontier Online.
I have to say it but crapcom is doing it wrong.
exactly? I'm not sure I follow.
Is this the Wii version or something? And if we're already paying for Gold, we're STILL gonna have to pay more? No thank you.
Actually, each month comes with a month of LIVE. However, $15 a month is still a rip off.
On a business stand point release MHO on japan and 360 exclusive is just plain stupid. If it was also on ps3 or what the hell even the wii that could be something different. Im talking on console version not the pc.
Why is that stupid? They need a real system boost and Monster hunter can be that.
MH Frontier fans in Japan all ready have the game running on their PCs. Also, it's a great game especially each "version" update increases the amount of stuff and monsters you can fight and collect. Version 7.0 just came out and you get to fight a giant dragon like snake that is bigger than Lao Shun Lung. Version 8.0 is coming out soon and Version 9.0 and 10.0 is coming this 2010. For those who want to play it and understand a bit of japanese or would just like to print out the "Quick MH Japanese Guide" to play with a paper next to them... follow this link. http://www.onrpg.com/boards... You have to pay monthly and you need to install a tunneling program like Xlink Kai to play on JP servers. Use wiki if you need more help. But if you wait for the 360 version everything will be in ENGLISH! Awesome!
MH3 looks much better IMO
It really is. But so much is in Frontier... there's so much MH3 is missing which become extremely noticeable if you've played MHU. But i was glad at the amazing stuff they added in MH3 especially the new types of water enemies. Naval Deus music: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Hmm, it looks like they didn't bother to update the graphics to much from the PC version. I suppose they left them the same for whatever reasons they have chosen, and in my opinion it's not a very solid move especially with the graphics of Tri. Then again could this be helpful in streaming of data and such? I don't know a whole lot about it so anything I say on that subject is all pure guessing pretty much. Then again graphics aren't much for me and Monster Hunter first and foremost is 'Game play over graphics' so I'll still get this regardless if it hits the states. What we or should I say I want//need right now is just more information on the 360 version and not screen shots, at least no more screen shots. Since they are showing the graphics aren't going to be improved it would be nice to know what will be changed and what will be the same for this port.
the game looks fine imo, stop the hating for a online game its looks pretty good
Tell that to the people hating on WKC
It's just a port of the PC version. It's not brand new like the wii version.
Love the creature design, but looks dated. Not horrible, just not great like I would expect an HD console MH to look like (and yes, I know it is just an old PC port). I mean look at how much better Lost Planet 2 looks. They should use that engine for a new MH game.
Though it's not new as you stated and it is a port. To update the graphics on the 360 version they would more than likely have to update the graphics for the PC version just as well to be fair. They have already stated they kept the graphics low due to streaming issues I believe so upping them may cause problems. For what is is not it's fine, just hope that their won't be a heavy lag issue that's the thing that causes more trouble than out dated graphics.
japanese will take ffxiv over this any one of the 365 days of the year... epic fail coming
already one of big fails of this gen... FACT.
how many people can this have online? you i think thats the reason they did't update the grahpics cause mag don't have the best iver but has quiete a few playyers etc
Isn't some of that concept art? Really need to see some video. Though it should look as good if not better than Lost Planet.
Doesn't look much better than Monster Hunter Tri for Wii, if better at all. That and a $15/month fee... Hope it improves.
even worse is the online fee...and whats with sony and capcom...they dont fight for there games
