Games On Net: Multiplayer Review: BioShock 2

Games On Net writes: "When we first heard that BioShock 2 was introducing a multiplayer component, we had but one question to ask; why? BioShock is known for its story-focused single player, and didn't feel like a good fit for an online blast fest. However, our fears sank to the bottom of the deep blue sea when we found out that Digital Extremes were the team tasked with turning Rapture's decrepit ballrooms into battlefields. After all, with an extensive online shooter resume, including the beloved Unreal games, how could they go wrong?" (BioShock 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 3/6

Multiplayer pointless for this game.
Including multiplayer in BioShock 2 was a huge mistake. I've only played a hour or so in the campaign, but it's not hard to tell it lacks the same detail and effort put into the first BioShock.

This sequel could of been so much better if the multiplayer was left out. It's annoying how every dev wants to include multiplayer these days, some games just don't suit it, and this is one of those games.
