Oh, I never thought of it as that close!
Just give me diablo 3! **** World of warcraft
The future certainly looks bright. Imagine what their profits would have been like in an economic boom or just stable even. It's remarkable and encouraging.
Incredible financial performance during a worldwide financial crisis
Yea, MMO's are the future of gaming, I can see every major publisher having 1 beast, EA is trying hard to get into this market, WAR/Battlefield Heroes/APB/Need for Speed World/SW:TOR.
Definitely, if in a recession it looks that good, in a boom it would have been staggering high profits.
2010 Is shaping up to be a very exciting year :D
Big earnings for a crisis that still exists out there.
Credit crunch? Well, you see video games seems to have been less affected by this. It's very cool to see.
nice to see it written
A very interesting read! Hopefully they will use that money to improve and make new games and not just put it all in their pockets. And SC2 Beta this month? That is just soo great! :)
AHHHH BEEETA thats all i care about. wow's not really big for me. and another reminder that D3 wont be til at least 2011
I just can't believe it's almost time! Waiting for that beta to land on my PC. ^_^
God, this year is like from heaven. first Mass Effect 2 then StarCraft beta, what more can you ask for.
as much as I'd like diablo 3 to be released, I'd also like blibli to make new IP. I mean they have truckloads of money, many many talented people...yet they work on sequels. My secret dream would be some kind of revolutionary FPS from blizzard, i'm sure they could add something to this genre =)
