Game Revolution: Heavy Rain Review

Game Revolution writes: "Something is askew about Heavy Rain. Before you even see the title screen, it teaches you step by step how to fold the square piece of paper provided in the case into the now infamous origami shape on the cover. Maybe it's a nice diversion while you wait for the game to install, or maybe it's trying to get you into the mind of the Origami Killer. Then, you are given three options for difficulty labeled as whether you play games "regularly", "very often", or "occasionally". Peculiar, it is, and obviously so."

+ Refreshingly unique
+ High concept drama
+ Complex branching story
+ Realistic graphics and set modeling
+/- Lots of quick-time events
+/- Auto-save system
- Too many insignificant actions
- Press button to walk?
- Umbrellas, anyone? (Heavy Rain , PS3) B/A+

Is it me or are they stretching the cons as much as they can ?
Considering their + it should have scored at least a -A to an A not a B.

It does seem that way.
But I have my fanboy glasses on right now with anything associated with HR. I already drank two big jugs of the red Kool-Aid, laced up my Nikes, put on my SONY blinders and just broke out the Naaaamin Jaden iron on for my PS3 pajamas.

Sorry :(

I can't believe...
This guys are on metacritic. I mean, come on, that review is ridicolous.

And I checked out they gave 3.3 to Indigo Prophecy. So it's pretty good score for Heavy Rain, which is a similar game.

qte
so, personally i do not consider getting an oj in hr being a qte. lets say right on the analog stick,... so? for me thats not qte.. right? i think the only time qtes are a lot on this game if you consider opening the door of a car like in the demo and consider it a qte..
