Kotaku: Heavy Rain Review: No Wrong Conclusions

Kotaku:

"Heavy Rain is a strong effort by Quantic Dream, a game that doesn't need the constant killing and chaos that so many video games depend on to be interesting. This game may ultimately be a murder mystery and an exploration about the lengths to which players might push the characters they control. But it is, at its frequent best, a game about emotion and subtlety, a game that doesn't condemn choices as bad but instead allows them to be different, allows them to be meaningful and allows the player to feel. This is a game for grown-ups or anyone who wants to feel like one."

The story is too old to be commented.

Did the embargo(if there was one) lift or something? All of a sudden there's a flood of reviews lol.

"This is a game for grown-ups or anyone who wants to feel like one."

I'm betting money that anyone bashing this game on N4G will be under 18 years old.

When I was a kid I don't know if games like Flower(PSN) and Heavy Rain would have interested me but now I love how games have matured with us.

You are mistaken. There will be many older then 18 bashing it.
Also you would be surprised by the amount of teens interested in this game
(13-19)
There is a thread in the Gamepost forums where everyone interested in heavy rain posted their age and the average was 22 with many bellow 20 showing interest.

"But it is, at its frequent best, a game about emotion and subtlety, a game that doesn't condemn choices as bad but instead allows them to be different, allows them to be meaningful and allows the player to feel."

That's a beautiful passage, perfectly summing up want Quantum Dreams aimed for, and a sad indictment of the people who 'hate' on HEAVY RAIN for the sake of it.
