TVG: Heavy Rain Review

"In awarding Heavy Rain a 10 we're not suggesting this game is perfect, and certainly not saying this is something for everybody. We are however celebrating Quantic Dream's determination to create a unique experience and one that manages to shift our perception on what a video game is. I found myself asking whether this is a video game, but then again what's the classification of a video game. If interactivity is a key factor then perhaps Heavy Rain could disappoint, it could be cynically viewed as little more than stringing together cut-scenes, a thoroughly pedestrian affair. But ultimately, the sense of fulfillment both throughout the game and once the end credits had rolled is somehting that other games struggle to match." (Heavy Rain , PS3) 10/10
