Though Fireteam Bravo 3 may not take many steps forward, it sure as hell doesn't take any steps back. It delivers that familiar SOCOM experience, and you know what? As dated as that's getting, it's still plenty entertaining. Those stretches of careful, stealthy setup, punctuated by frenzied firefights -- that dizzying array of weapon customizations -- that sadistic array of bonus objectives that push you to try the level just once more, to see if you can avoid detection -- it's all still fun, still competently delivered, and still worthy of the attention of any shooter fan. It may not be making any bold new statements, but Fireteam Bravo 3 proves that the SOCOM formula still satisfies.
