BangBangTech Review: BioShock 2 – worthy of the controversy and skepticism?

The BioShock series is back to answer its critics, but will it be a rapturous return to form?

The original BioShock release (2007) became one of the most critically acclaimed and best loved games of the current console generation. But rarely has a sequel to such a stunning title received such skeptical pre-release concerns.

Such skepticism threatened to be entirely warranted. Celebrated lead designer Ken Levine absence from the sequel's development - a project split between studios and troubled by delays - caused many to question the validity of producing a follow up at all. (BioShock 2, PS3, Xbox 360) 9/10
