Latest internet rumours are hinting that a new Jak & Daxter is in the works for PS3 with a release penned in for this Christmas.
CRN are reporting Jonathan Fargher, SCEE representative, as the culprit when in a recent interview defending criticisms made about the PS3 he stated the following:
"It will be towards the end of the year when the big titles start to show what the PS3 can really do and hopefully make people feel more comfortable about the decision they made to invest in our hardware."
Titles due to hit the shelves in the Christmas run-up include the latest installment of favourites such as Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear Solid, Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter, he added.
Jak & Daxter were a firm favourite of ours on PS2 and a huge commercial success, and whilst it's very likely that the twosome are set to re-appear on PS3 at some point, a surprise Christmas release would make our year. Sony, let it be true!!
