Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.
Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.
Pity.
The long-running, free-to-play Star Trek Online has expanded once more - and this time it's the new Both Worlds season that comes to Xbox and PlayStation.
I'm pleasantly surprised to see BC2 as the number one seller, especially in the face of competition from Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2. Looking good for Dice.
If the beta(s)/demos on the various platforms (I've played all three) is an accurate representation, BC2 is gonna be a great experience.
2 straight weeks of BFBC2 being number one on the Steam charts. This is a pre-purchase too.
