Previous games in the series and by developer Rainbow Studios have all forged a path along the same track so don't be expecting anything too revolutionary. If you played MX Vs ATV: Untamed, there's nothing very surprising here. There are a few additional gameplay elements, though - the most interesting of which is terrain deformation. As you race around, you'll carve muddy tracks into the dirt and they'll remain when you come back round a second time. You can use these to make things hard for the other racers but don't forget you'll have to contend with those hard-to-manoeuvre areas when you come back round the track again too. It's a strategic element that works nicely but Rainbow Studios could have been a bit braver with the effects of the altered terrain.
