GameDaily: The Nintendo Difference:Wario Land: Shake It!

GameDaily writes: "When Nintendo released New Super Mario Bros. Wii last fall, numerous writers and fans praised the company for choosing to create a 2-D adventure, instead of using polygons for 3-D's sake. Although the publisher proved that a 2-D game can sell tons of copies (to the tune of ten million), one of the Wii's most underrated titles, Wario Land: Shake It!, didn't receive nearly as much attention. While not as difficult or elaborate as Mario's big budget romp through the Mushroom Kingdom, Wario's 2-D extravaganza is a beautifully simple and addictive effort with attractive graphics and plenty of secrets. Even better, GameStop sells it brand new for $19.99." (Wario Land Shake, Wario Land: Shake It!, Wii)
