Crytek joins German game association

The engine and game software studio looks to promote the business.

Frankfurt headquartered Indie studio Crytek has joined German industry association G.A.M.E.

In 2007 Crytek managing director Avni Yerli threatened the company would leave Germany if a proposed ban on violent games was put in place.

Today, however, the CryEngine 3 vendor is focusing its efforts on talking up Germany's game industry.
