Gameplay Monthly: Army of Two: The 40th Day (360) Review

The game picks up after the first with Rios and Salem working for themselves. They arrive in China to do a simple job, when all hell breaks loose. That is pretty much where the story ends, while the first game had a cliched run of the mill story, it did have a "story". TFD loses this aspect pretty much after the first level. While not having any real effect on the overall plot, EA did bother to put some interesting twists in the game in the manner of "morality" choices. Sadly after reading some reviews and browsing the forums of countless topics, this new mechanic seemed to be lost on the majority of gamers and reviewers. Many complained about how their choice didn't make things better for the character or give a clear reward that made their choice justified.
