Though Mike Wang has spent the past few years working on NBA Live at the EA Canada studio, EA has sent word today that he's left EA Canada to return to the US. Details of Mike Wang leaving EA after the break.
I wonder if his last name makes him real popular with the ladies :P
Lol hadn't thought about that til you mentioned it. :p
Geeze he JUST joined EA not too long ago after leaving 2K Sports...now he's BACK with 2K Sports? http://sports.espn.go.com/v... Lmao if I didn't know any better, I'd say there's some secret spy stuff going on from 2K Sports lol. Sent him over there to see how EA Canada handles the Live series and their graphics then bring the intel back over so 2K can finally have upgraded visuals.
2k7/8 had better gfx then live, 2k9 and 10 however idk what happened lol.
uuh huh huh, uuh huh huh huh.
Good news, I think he was spy for 2K sports all along.
No Wang? First time i felt pity for EA in some time
Because if you do, you'd notice that after he left, 2k released NBA2k10 which SUCKED on release (though significant, albeit poorly planned and implemented patching, has fixed it somewhat) and NBA Live, which Wang went to work on, got a whole lot better (but still not as good as previous 2k games). I think the guys at 2kSports knew they screwed up big time with 2k10- the forums have been alight since it released last year with complaints and issues- and poached Wang back to help improve 2k11- he was the lead designer on 2k9 and 2k8, which as far as basketball games go, are some of the all time best. As a huge NBA fan, I'm just glad to see he's back at 2k and hopefully it makes a difference to 2k11, because the NBA2k franchise are the games I still play most out of everything, and 2k10 was a huge disappointment.
