Sony may be bringing Continuous Play back.
whats continous play? is that like an extended warrenty, i thought that was already to be established in psn premium.
Its a pay monthly warranty but they stop it as people were abusing. It was simple to abuse when you ps3 broke instead of paying £130 pay 1 month for £10 or whatever it was and wait 1 week and say your ps3 broke and they would replace for free. Then you would cancel it. Never did it myself as never had 1 die while it was around the first time.
@vhere, nice then bring it back Sony! Was it worldwide? I doubt it
this was referrig to continuous playback of videos from the ps3 hdd. Then i realized that that function could be enabled under the system settings. i feel like a real 'tard right now. edit- damn keyboard. i meant at first.
or at least introduce it in the premuim service evern for ps3 out of warrenty already. I want warrenty again cause ithere is always that one time it might happen
I was confused too thinking continuous play is something thats talking about something that plays continuously but it wasnt descriptive
Can someone explain me what is this guy from the article talking about? I don't understand anything... Oh, I just read vhero's explanation.
So it was a warranty that you pay for monthly(like $10-$20 a month)that would cover a ps3 so that if it did break(during your subscription to this service) sony would replace your broken ps3 at no additional cost, but at the time that this service was available people were abusing it by subscribing to this service after their ps3 broke, then once they got their replacement they canceled their subscription. So people abused this service by paying only $10-$20 to get their ps3 fixed/replaced instead of paying the non-subscription standard $100+ fee to get ps3 fixed/replaced by sony. When I first got my mgs bundle ps3 it began to glitch and freeze up after only a few hours of play, so I bought a 3rd party fan peripheral that hooked on to my ps3 and now no problems whatsoever, I can keep my ps3 on for hours and it never glitches or freezes up at all anymore.
sounds cool...and it sucks you have to pay, but understandable. but, is it still cheaper than just buying a new ps3 now?
