To celebrate the giving of flowers, chocolates and cards to your loved ones, Epic Games have decided to award all Gears of War 2 players with bonus XP for shooting, beating and killing each other. How sweet.
Continuing the trend of a Gears of War 2 Event for pretty much all major holidays, "Epic, will you be my Valentine?" is the name of the latest event currently in planning stages on the Gears of War 2 Forums.
Whilst the date is still being decided between three days and an entire week, the changes to gameplay have just recently been decided. The event will take place sometime between the 8th-14th February and will see the following alterations:
* Revives are worth double points in all game modes.
* Horde mode rewards double XP for each completed wave.
* Wingman mode rewards double the normal XP.
