Tech Interview: PlayStation 3D

Digital Foundry writes:

"If you weren't sure how 3D works, whether it's for you, how it came about, what the difference is between PS3's system and other systems, or even how PlayStation 3 in 3D relates to what you get if you're one of the millions of people going to the cinema to watch James Cameron's Avatar, then read on." (PS3)

very informative and interesting..

it's a shame some people haven't even been able to grasp HDTV 2D concepts :)

Yep, that's why I love Digital Foundry, no bias, very informative and very complete.

Great article
very informative.
quote(Eurogamer: What you're doing here is something I can really appreciate... taking something that's there in the home and being pushed beyond its original design specifications. Although having said that, the original PS3 specs talked about dual HDMI ports and 120Hz outputs. KEN KUTARAGI REALLY WAS THINKING AHEAD OF HIS TIME THERE.)

Yes he was :)

Wow. That was a good read. Sony seems to be making a very strong push for 3D across all of their companies. With that kind of support, success is inevitable.

My only fear is that third party will not support this PS3 exclusive technology in their multiplatform games. PS3 has blu-ray and third parties never took advantage of it. So why would they support technology that isn't available on the 360?
