OXM UK writes: "It's not that we don't like a cerebral challenge, it's just that a lot of the time when we switch on our Xbox 360, we want to go for a bit of mindless fun. So a strategy game has to be something that's mightily impressive if it's to replace the parade of action games that usually occupy our disc tray.
Unfortunately, the original Supreme Commander made about as much of an impression as a bug hitting a windscreen. It was an awful conversion of a ludicrously ambitious PC strategy game that was huge in scale, but as pretty as a bulldog in a summer dress. It's surprising, then, that a sequel is even being considered for our fair platform, but Gas Powered Games, via CEO and founder Chris Taylor, has assured us this time will be different."
