Essential to any good action game in the artificial intelligence. Not only is there programming necessary for the enemies, but a complex set of instructions is necessary for the computer controlled partner in this game. Players have the ability to fake their own death in a firefight or mock surrender enabling their partner to open fire on unsuspecting enemies. This is all part and parcel with the game whether or not playing with a human partner or not.
