Amazing physics simulations of realistic water interacting with objects, fracturing rigid bodies, particle-based viscoelastic fluids, fire with cellular patterns, multiple interacting liquids...
It may not be interesting to watch but what it took to make that video is amazing.
just because it isn't PS3 or Wii doesn't mean it's boring.
Insane. And it's all driven by calculations =)
I'll admit: I'm very very very impressed. I like this kind of stuff, physics and computer simulations. Very cool stuff.
cannot wait to see what they will come up with next
Can we exspect to see this kind of effects in Ps3 and Xbox 360 games,or is this just the domain of high end PCs with physics cards
Just a tech demo showing off what they can do.
Even the Ageia Physx stuff isn't as good as this. Ageia's water particles are still too large, but hopefully we'll see these physics in games soon.
Very nice.. will be cool when things like this are easily accessible.
it would be great if they can use this physics in a games. i don't think any of the current gen. consoles can handle that much calculations, but i could be wrong.
very cool stuff to me physics are more important than graphics. Having the game world react like you would expect it too is awesome.
This is good stuff.
Hopefully with all these multicore processors coming out they could dedicate an entire core just for physics.
I wish Bioshock's water looked like that. Close but no cigar.
Is that realtime?
Truly awe-inspiring footage. I only dream of the day that physics like that are in all our videogames. I could play with that fire forever!!!
You could make a fun game just burning things, or flooding rooms, and watching the results....
Lol potheads dream.
