Ubi Links Just Dance Success To Rise Of Reality TV

Ubisoft has told IncGamers that the "popularity of dancing shows" and linked advertising likely helped the sales of this week's surprise number one, Just Dance.

It's a good ad, and yes there is a lot of dancing shows (Dancing with the stars, So you think you can dance) The advertisement that would actually win me over would be putting a clip of when SUDA51 was dancing to this! That was just great (Never seen it? just youtube just dance suda51) It makes me want to get Just dance and makes me even more impatient for No More Heroes 2! :D

I haven't watched tv on a regular basis in over 6 years. It's nothing but crap and the few things that interest me can be streamed online.

To quote Smee from Hook, "Abso-floggin-lutely" ;. I can't stand watching TV anymore. My attention span for it has literally dried up. My wife asked me if I wanted to watch something with her last night, and I had to really work up the desire to sit down and watch something. Turned out to be District 9; great movie. But that's my point, I love my wife to death, and I had to REALLY work up the desire to watch something. Reality shows and politically correct sitcoms have ruined television for me. Those and the ungodly amount of boring shows like CSI, medical dramas, Law & Order, ad nauseum. Dexter was the last interesting show I remember seeing. And since we don't get HBO, I rely on the internet to deliver said show. I find when I'm sitting on the couch when my wife's watching TV, I just close my eyes and do the cat thing. Just live in the moment and relax instead of watching whatever tripe is on the, very appropriately named; boob tube. Thank you video games for delivering me from boredom onscreen. :)
