PST reviewed EA's latest action title Army of Two: The 40th Day. PST writes: ''EA's second try is a success. First game's broken gameplay dynamics and poor AI are dead now. The 40th Day's gameplay is smooth and entertaining. Cover system is improved and take a great role in everlasting action. Also, our partner's AI is improved. So, he can take great choices and correspond your orders.
But the real star of the show is co-op mode. In this mode, you can take one of your friend or a stranger and become an unbeatable team. Location designs are also good. You can find several alternative routes. So, you can create tactics with your friend with using these routes. Aggro system is here, too. This system makes gameplay deeper.
Graphics are good but not the best. Our heroes' modelling are great, you can see every detail in their faces and bodies. When we talk about overlay, game may sadden you a little bit. Afterall, second game is beaten the first one completely. Smooth controls, great action and an interesting story make The 40th Day a great buy.''
