WorthPlaying: Bookworm Review

If you loved the PC editions of the franchise and wish you could take the game on the road, then you're in luck, as Bookworm DS is a truly superior edition of the game. The classic gameplay mechanics are still there but jazzed up with extra incentive for progress. Furthermore, the new action mode is a treat for those looking to play a quick session or who generally enjoy their games to be a little more upbeat. Once again, PopCap proves that it can create great games regardless of the console, and Bookworm DS is an excellent choice to add to your handheld gaming library.

PopCap’s parent Electronic Arts registers ‘Bookworm Heroes’ domain names

It’s been a few years since PopCap Games has released a new Bookworms title, but it looks like something new may be on the way for the word-forming computer puzzle game, according to new domain registrations by PopCap’s parent EA. On November 1, 2012, Electronic Arts registered several names like BookwormHeroes.com, BookwormHeroes.org, and even BookwormHeroes.co.uk.

Bookworm - DS Review by Brash Games

Bookworm isn’t the most inviting of titles. Arguably, it could be one of the least appetising of game names ever released. However first impressions can be deceiving and word games do have a tendency to be fun and competitive. It’ll be interesting to find out whether Lex the bookworm can keep all of us engaged for longer than the usual word search in your local paper.

Pocket Gamer: Bookworm Review

Pocket Gamer: PopCap has been on a bit of a Nintendo DS bender recently, bringing a number of its classic casual titles to the dual-screen handheld.

One of them is Bookworm, a game about making words from tiles, rather than an action title revolving around gobbling your way through books. Shame.
