The sports that compose the winter games are compelling ones, in real life and in video games. Snowboarding and skiing have had their own games dedicated to them in the past. Same goes for hockey, though that sport is not included in Vancouver 2010. The sports that are included are all ones that are compelling enough as video games on their own. And on their own, they mostly work. Each of the 14 Winter sports included is a decent experience, with respectable graphics and decent enough designs to challenge your ability to hit certain buttons at the right moment, or steer something along a guided track. The individual experiences of the competitions are good, but the whole package tying them together is criminally under developed.
