Unveiling the details about a DLC of Heavy Rain

4News.it: "The DLC will be distributed weekly and allow you to complete the game experience as the main story situations were happening at a time not accurate in the game, while others will instead be able to discover new characters.

In particular there will be impersonating a blind man who, as such, will have only hearing in order to move. In fact for this scene our video will be completely dark and the surround sound will be the unique instrument of gameplay.

David Cage has declared: We have a download content for Heavy Rain coming where the player plays a blind man, so the screen is all black and they have to use their surround sound to play the episode. It is the first surround sound gameplay experience. (Something similar had already been seen in Fahrenheit's note.) "

What about people with stereo setting?
Even so, hearing of blind people is better developed than normal, it'll be hard probably. Appears to be fun though.

You should still be able to tell the general direction of where you need to go with stereo but will take longer.

only wished they told me this around black friday.... fml

DLC?, let the game come out first damn David Cage is money hungry

when this flops at retail( come on something like this is not for the

mass market ).

WTF?

4 episodes a month?!
I would rather it monthly. Being 1 week apart says something about the content's length.
1 month outweighs a week.
Now that will be true QTE.

Flop.....qte....Flop.....qte. ....Flop.......qte.

Lol can't be QTE if you are playing as a blind man, can't see what buttons to press hahaha.

while i hate there is already DLC being made for post launch i can't really blame these guys. While i think heavy rain is going to be a phenomenal game sales wise i don't think it's going to do well at all so i'm guessing cage and Quantic dreams have already planned for this and hope they can get even more money from DLC.

either way this blind sounds awsome i'm very much looking forward to testing my new 5.1 sound system

From what I've heard the DLC is going to be free for America if you pre-order and for Europeans if you get the special edition (which is the same price as the regular edition).

Publishers are usually going the DLC route now so people don't resell (e.g. Burnout Paradise).

Looking forward to this -- David and his team have really come up with innovative ways to entertain.

They're putting so much into this game, it's truly exciting. I love developers that have this sort of integrity, and when they make a game it's about making something they're personally passionate about. I think the DLC will be well made, I wouldn't expect anything less from QD.
