Xboxliveaddicts Review: Sherlock Holmes versus Jack The Ripper

Mush xx writes: Sherlock Holmes is perhaps the most famous detective in history and the name Jack the Ripper is notorious for his murders of prostitutes in White Chapel London. Although never identified and the case was closed in 1891 it still remains one of the most famous unsolved murder cases in history. Sherlock Holmes versus Jack The Ripper takes you back to 1888 in a time where London was a grey, dirty city over-run by thieves, violence, disease and alcoholics to attempt to solve the mystery.

The game opens up with a glimpse of 1888 London and the first murder of Mary Ann Nichols, in a dark alley in Buck's Row, White Chapel. She had been working the streets and had unfortunately come across the murderer himself resulting in her gruesome death, thus beginning the game and also the attempt to solve case and the others which followed. (PC, Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack The Ripper, Xbox 360) 6.5/10
