Another Undisclosed Grin Project, This One's For A Ninja Game

GRIN had many undisclosed projects in the works before they closed down under the threat of bankruptcy. One of them was Project Fortress, the Ivalice Alliance game for Square Enix. Another was "Blue Steel," which many believe to be a Mega Man game for Capcom.

A third unnamed project has now been uncovered, thanks to an artist resumé. Pre-production material for this one, unlike the other two, details a complex battle system, featuring a ninja character with a sword and shield as seen above. (Dev)

Grin was awesome. Too bad this is canceled too.

Looks good, but it's not "Blue Steel" or a Mega Man game. Maybe a Shinobi remake or new IP

Considering the movements described, I believe it was supposed to be a new IP. Ninja Blade and Ninja Gaiden have been developed by japanese developers (From Software and Team Ninja) and Shinobi IP certainly belongs to Sega. It can't be a Tenchu game as we clearly see robots and helicopters is the sketches.

It is sad Grin as been closed, it seems they were developing very interesting games, I hope some publishers will take the staff or the ideas back (like Rockstar did with Capcom's Red Dead Revolver) in order to continue to develop those games (even the Final Fantasy game, why not?).
