Reknowned porn industry veteran Ron Jeremy has labelled videogames a worse influence on children than pornography, during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, which runs at the same time as CES.

It's a strange think that there's countless refrences to these studies BUT NO ONE HAS actually found a study which links Video games alone to violence. I am going to conduct a study into the dissapearances of these studies because if so many anti-gaming people can find them why can't anyone else?

common sense alone dictates other wise. How many millions of kids and adults play video games? And out of that how many people commit a crime, and at that a violent crime?
My point exactly. Every kid that plays video games that also happens to commit a crime also does things that lots of other kids do as well. Might as well go out and blame coca-cola for it, cause they all have that in common as well!
And breast feeding, most violent offenders would have been breast fed when they were young. Pretty obvious that that's the cause of all this. Violent crime was around before video games and so was breast feeding. CASE CLOSED!

I'm so disappointed in this guy He has even participated in video games TV and internet ads, hell he's starred as Mario in porn! But then again, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He's a reasonable man, he advocates the regulation of the porn industry, so he probably just thinks that video games should have a strict regulatory system.
Well, an overdose of anything is lethal so nothing new here. Videogames are made for fun, but when some people live the games they have an INFLUENCE on the games " making them real ".
Depends on who is watching/playing. It all comes down to social heritage. For someone who has abusive parents, lives in a bad neighborhood, or is mentally unstable for some other reason anything can act as a trigger to violent actions.
These 'researchers' should study some social psychology before they start accusing different forms entertainment of things. And in any case banning things won't make things magically disappear. Need to go to the root of the what's causing the problem.
He's right in some ways. If you've ever played an online game, you know games can bring the douchbagginess out of people. Then there's the guys who kill themselves playing World of Warcraft for days straight.
