If nVidia is better than ATI Radeon does that mean PS3 > Xbox 360 ?

people talk about the $600 price tag on the ps3 like it was too high, I don't see how come people don't say the same thing on a $400 or $500 graphic card. It's just a graphic card with no blue ray or any of the PS3 features

I have a junky computer if I get a graphics card will it run things faster and stuff?

I doubt it, because even if you get a mid-range or high-end graphics card for your computer, you're not guaranteed a boost of performance. Along with a great GPU, I highly recommend you getting a better system to go with it: more RAM and a faster processor like a Core2Duo.

If you have a crappy pc with something like an 8800 GTX, the performance of the 8800 GTX will be bottlenecked because of the old CPU and RAM.

i should get a 8600gt in my macbook pro for college...

i'm an nvidia fan. i've always liked their products and services more than ATI's. for instance: SLI > Crossfire
