Tony Hawk: Ride is a failed experiment that likely sounded great in a staff meeting. The idea isn't a bad one. It's the game that's the problem. The technology behind the controller is really cool and impressive on its own, but it's paired with a poorly designed piece of software that will serve as a constant reminder that you spent $120 on a novelty item. It's a shame, but this will probably spell the end of an otherwise well-liked franchise. Oh well, back to waiting for Skate 3. D+/A+
