Analyst: Software Heads for May Rebound

May videogame software sales could perform a "bounceback" following flat April U.S. software sales, but PS3 and Xbox 360 sell-through will likely be "sluggish," according to Lazard Capital Markets. Ahead of the impending release of NPD Group's monthly data, Colin Sebastian said in his latest investor note that third-party titles--namely Activision's Guitar Hero II and Spider-Man 3, and Electronic Arts' Command & Conquer 3--drove software sales 15-20 percent during May.
