MyWii: Muramasa: The Demon Blade Review

The Wii has a growing list of 'shovel ware' titles, but every once in a while one stands out. Muramasa – The Demon Blade is such a game. . It captures some classic arcade style gameplay (and 'light' role playing ) from obvious inspirations such as 'Usagi Yojimbo', 'Legend of Kage' and recent games such as 'Odin Sphere', 'The King Of Fighters' series or even perhaps some 'Super Smash Bros' thrown in for good measure.. There is a certain quirkiness about parts of the game and the battles can get a little shallow and repetitive, but they are still of an addictive nature and any deficiencies in the game play are propped up the exceptional graphics. (Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Wii) 8.4/10
