Maybe M$ IS actually going to do something about the RROD.

Droids your hate machine is running out of ammo.

the 360 was made to run perfectly in Antartica

Those pipes look like they would help a lot. Hopefully this from some new 360's and not just a prototype.

but it`ll probaly make it louder than it already is.

most of the 360's noise is due to it's dvd drive, not the fans or the liquid cooling system.... hopefully the latest batches of the 360 will have quieter drives (the one that they sent me as a replacement is even noisier than the orig one I purchase on day 1).... maybe M/S should open up the PS3/paperweight and examine how come that thing is so quiet.

which would be OVERKILL since the 360 in max fan speed is loud as HELL adding more fans would just turn into the "BOOM-BOX", just leave your 360 more than 5 hours and the fan becomes annoying after a while

odd enought the 360 that came after the original I had that died was some what louder than the one before

Diselage3606d ago

How would heat pipes increase the sound?

JustCallMeDaddy3606d ago

I just got my 360 from microsoft and is better than before, it makes the same noise as before, but now much more air comes out of the back. It barely gets hot now
