Siliconera: Ignition stepped up by giving SNK's games more exposure in North America and Europe. The King of Fighters XII had heaps of promotion, way more than any other SNK game in the past decade. Meanwhile, Ignition is silent about Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny.
SNK
piracy kill the good SNK :/
I have the cart AES as well as the CD-Z.
I think SNK is making a new metal slug game soon. Last one I got was 7 for the DS. I want to see them bring back world heroes or maybe a new ikari warriors.
refuse of glory remains at their place.
They couldn't make 20 year old games run smoothly on PSP and PS2... I'm talking about Samurai Showdown Anthology. Half the games in the collection were almost unplayable, due to excessive slowdown and loading times.
They dont make a game any worse or better that it is , only help translating it and put it on shelves .
It's most likely unplayable on the original jap discs too .
What we can blame them for is choosing lousy games , and not being strong enough to strong arms SNK into patching properly or QCing properly their mess
Atleast, that's what I hope they're doing :(
Nothing against this SamSho game, I've never played it to judge it properly, but I'll stick to my Samurai Shodown Anthology disc until SNK proves they can make a "good" 3D game.
SNK really need to step up their game. Release a full KoF title with a healthy roster and lots of added content. I mean really, the new KoF didn't even have an end boss! What SNK game EVER did that??
