G4TV: Sessler's Soapbox: 2009 in Review

G4TV writes: "Well the end of the year is quickly approaching, so what better time to sit down with Adam Sessler and hear his opinion on the state of the gaming industry in 2009. Some publishers laughed, some cried, but all in all gamers had a great collection of masterfully crafted interactive entertainment to choose from this year. Check out what The Sess has to say about the past 12 months and let us know if you agree or disagree with him. Happy Holidays!"

Sessler always does a good job of putting things into perspective

Shroom5234d ago (Edited 5234d ago )

I have to agree with you. When I first started watching Sessler years ago, I didn't think I would care for his opinions. Over the years, he has proven to be pretty much on the money in his reviews.

*edit* - At least on the games that I was interested in. <-- Makes a difference, I think. I don't game on handhelds, so I wouldn't know anything about those games.

"....that weren't a jump or a leap from games that came out previous years"
I agree. Hardly anyone is trying to push anything new. It's not really "Bad", but it would be nice to see more fresh material.

Overall, a great year for anyone with a PS3, though.

Can't fool me Sessler! I know you're not really a gamer. You're obviously a Linux code monkey. Can't hide it from me. I've seen those shoulders before, dude.

is that suppose to be a joke? Cause if it is I must say it's not that humorous

I always thought this guy was a 360 fanboy, or maybe that's Morgan Webb...I'm sorry but I never found her attractive or relevant to gaming, I actually hated her when I used to watch G4tv.

does not seem like a gamer but a person who knows the media quite well. he seems more into the medium of the casuals and the hardcore. this guy is well disguise if you ask me?

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space
