IGN: Lessons Learned from Dead Rising

IGN loved the original Dead Rising. The relatively infinite slaughtering of zombies had been done well in films, but until Dead Rising, we hadn't really seen anything like it in games. For a couple weeks straight, IGNers would come into the office in the morning and regale countless stories of killing the undead during the previous night. It was great.

As fun as it was, however, Dead Rising was far from a perfect game. Its fun overshadowed its flaws, but there's a lot that Capcom and Blue Castle Games could do with Dead Rising 2 to fix these issues and make the whole experience a better (and bloodier) game. (Dead Rising, Xbox 360)
