yeah I play this when I get bored, but it will never be a substitute to anything like TF2, CSS, COD2 really.
but its the ULTIMATE time killer.

I'm sure we can all agree that a free 3D FPS such as Quake is the ideal way to burn away some free time :)

Cube(sp) is a free FPS with a larger community similar to DOOM

Yea I wouldn't say Quake Live is the type of game you can play at work :)

mrv, isn't cube a came you need to download? The main point of Quake Live is that it is playable from a browser and is easily accessible.

excellent game but cus i'm not a regular player i am what some would call a 'noob' and i usually get my ass handed to me. it's certainly different to games now adays such as cod where it's get a few kills urself and let the ai take over lol

This is an awesome game! Graphics are better than the 360 version of Quake I played....and this is being played in my browser.
