Today Crytek wheeled out another free trial for their multiplayer FPS Crysis Wars. For the next ten days, you can duke it out online or via LAN.
Crysis' Power Struggle game-mode is quite possibly the coolest online game-mode I've ever played. It's basically an arms race to acquire nukes and nuke the enemy's base. Doesn't get much cooler than that :D
Well according to the disagrees it does get much cooler than that.
Basic deathmatch is all I really care about. Capturing flags or nukes or whatever else is secondary to it.
I will be getting Crysis Ultimate Edition after the start of the new year. Cannot wait to try out this bad boy on my new gaming rig!
great no trial keys left...
seriously, it's pretty n' all but the gameplay was pretty poor and repetitive. Porves there are a hell of a lot of graphics whores out there (including me)
I've been playing Crysis non-stop since I bought it back in October when the Maximum Edition went on sale on Steam. The gameplay is far from boring and repetitive.
I totally agree. The graphics are fantastic, but the game is ok. The online part (Crysis wars) is absolutely terrible, thats why hardly anyone plays it and its why they're offering free trials.
I don't get how anyone can call it 'poor and repetitive'. The single player for Crysis is the most fun I've had in the 10 years I've been playing video games. You don't see many games where you can change your weapons attachments on the fly, and smoothly I might add. Same goes for your suit's abilities. It give Crysis a whole new dimension. Most people that knock Crysis truly haven't played it. It didn't get a 91% on Metacritic and a bunch of awards for its graphics alone.
Crysis Wars is a nice addition to the game but it does get old quick. I think people need to buy Regular Crysis and get ready to play MechWarrior:Living Legends. They team behind that has worked Hard and have Teased for a long time that it is ready.
