eh, its not that simple. Most of their advice would work well on some girls but it would take a long time. The method that works the best is social games like the Sims and wonderful life. However, a better approach would be to introduce them to games like Crash Bandicoot.

Three simple words:

DONKEY KONG COUNTRY!!!

That game got every gamer-girl I know into gaming. It's just freakin' amazing! Number 2's the best, but start her off easy.

Chicks love FPS's. I suggest 007: Nightfire, first off. Then, work your way to Unreal Tournament 04' and Half-life 2. Skip the Halo...

...becuz halo sux...

Well, I got my gf to get a psp and start playing games when I showed her a video of LocoRoco. I figured since she liked cute characters like power puff girls and hello kittys then she'll find LocoRoco cute as well. She played it for weeks until she got it perfect in every category. Let's just say she got addicted to it. I can't even talk to her when she's playing because I'm a distraction lolz. At least now she can understand why I play madden and RPGs for hours. Imo, I think some girls are hardcore gamers like men while some just like games with simple controls and easy learning curves. Like the article states, you should find out what interest them and build it up from there. Speaking of female hardcore gamers, that reminds me of that one girl who destroyed my skills with Ken with freakin' Chun Li back in the old Street Fighter II arcade days lolz.

Cuddly and pink things, do not make me want to play games. If I wanted that, I would still be with Barbies. The thing I hear the most from my sisters is "I can't do it" Rubbish. Just force them to read the instructions and voila. The character is not supposed to follow your arm, it's the thumbstick!!! There is that whole thing that, they can't control the character so they rather give up. It just takes time. We all struggled with controls but you have to learn how to use them. No more horses and fluffs, girls. Because there should be no such thing as a "girl Game" because it's cute. I enjoyed Gears as much as a man coul've enjoyed Viva Pinata.
