Resumeplay: Zombie Driver - Review (PC)

Resumeplay writes: "I usually find myself playing games that have zombies as the main antagonists. Yes, zombies are naturally antagonists, but they weren't always the bad cannibals we fight here and there in games. They were once human you know. So when I saw Zombie Driver on Steam, I decided that I should play it and see what this game would mean to the zombie lovers out there. WITH CARS!!!!!! Sweetness!

yeah thats what I was thinking, such a weird concept of a game.

Not really.
This is a bad copy of carmageddon.

Carmageddon only had zombies in certain countries. So a zombie+car game is far from a rip-off of a game that came out 15 years ago. Even then, the only reason they put in zombies instead of humans was for ratings issues.

Between movies and games, zombies are as much a "sure thing" as the industry can produce. They always sell- even when people try to boycott the sale (Left 4 Dead 2).

It's kind of like buying at WalMart- yea, you don't really want to, but it's too tempting to resist. /zombie praise.

Basically the top-down version of the PS2's Zombie vs Ambulance. As I was reading this I was thinking to myself, if they have people you rescue who upgrade your machine, it's a blatant copy...and it is.

That said...I love me some zombies so I'll take it...copy or not.
