Gamasutra talks to Level-5 (Professor Layton, Dragon Quest IX) manager Yoshiaki Kusuda on the dev's PS3 debut, designing RPGs in Japan, and the benefits of game creation outside of Tokyo.
Really want to get this game.
Me too. The online thing intrigues...
It's a shame it's taken so long to release outside of Japan, but at least we are finally getting it! I'm still waiting to hear if the game will launch in Europe simultaneously with the American launch in February. *fingers crossed*
Like a year ago, when HHG stated that Sony would be acquiring Level-5 after this game, if it was successful.. These guys are so talented, I hope they do acquire them not because I want them to develop exclusively for Sony, but because I hate seeing their talent wasted on the Nintendo consoles. EDIT: This generation of nintendo consoles, where these great games are going up against the likes of nintendogs, Imagine: boutique operator, Family Fun Night, Wii-play/ski/etc... its embarrassing
Yer, talent goes to waste on Nintendo systems... that's why their DS games are their best sellers...
