Watching violence on the pitch is great. Blood spatters and bone-crunching tackles are brilliant when executed the right way. However the level of unpredictability in a game that is based on a skilful sport makes this more of a miss. Blood Bowl was quite popular on the PC, so one can only assume that there is a market for a game of this type. Unless you are a fan of turn-based games which rely more on luck, this should only be considered as a rental or for those who love achievement-boosting.
