Piyotama Brings More Bird Gaming To PSN

If you were concerned about a dip in the number of digitally distributed PLAYSTATION 3 games featuring adorable bird life, fear not, as Sony has announced Piyotama will be coming to Japanese PS3s this summer. According to the SCEA trademark, that translates into "Chirpie Egg" in English.

While the game looks like a Bust-A-Move/Puzzle Bobble clone, it appears to have a much different control scheme. It still appears to stick to the 3-colored item rule for clearing out stacks of Tamago, freeing the Piyos within, however, making it look like solid fun.

It hits Japan in a few weeks for 800 yen and weighs in at 100 MB.
