I kinda liked cell-shaded Link
Many people were pissed because of the new Link style, that's why the next big Zelda game was TP and they used the realistic Link, more people liked it but it failed to impress the masses. Zelda needs to be reinvented like they did with OoT and MM.

Lol toon shaded link pissed sooooo many people THAT they ( nintendo ) did 2 sequels to that game ...

The reason the went for the "realistic look" was only because project were différent .

It's obvious that nintendo does restart devellopping of zelda from 0 each time to keep things fresh even if they use the basic template of items ..

Black Sheep
I loved Zelda 2, I know most people don't agree but I think it is one of the best in the series. Took me years to finish it at the time, and I remember the art in the instruction booklet in colour, filled my imagination no end. Brilliant memories.

i didn't like zelda II
but shouldn't The Wand of Gamelon be on there too for worst zelda game. most of the things weren't surprising though. i'm surprised they didn't say that, the 1st LoZ, back on the NES, was the 1st game to use a save feature.
