Ron Perlman confirms Fallout movie?

Apparently, in the DVD commentary for the Mutant Chronicles movie, Ron Perlman stated that he was the narrator in a action heavy videogame that he thought was being made into a movie, and where the tagline was "War never changes". Earlier this year Bethesda Softworks applied for the ''Fallout'' trademark for movies and TV series. (Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Fat Boy
For the win.

That thing is too heavy to carry around in the game though.. I never used it and just sold it.

Fat Boy? lol
I think you mean "Fat Man". How about the Experimental MIRV? 8 mini-nukes in one shot. That's friggin' epic.

Hmm, as a rule game based movies generally suck b**ls, but the prospect of a fallout movie has piqued my interest

I think of all the video game series, a fallout series would be the most interesting and so my interest is peaked.

However, as with most video game movies - they are reserved only for Bad Movie themed events. They should only be watched with lots of beer and mocking. I hope a fallout movie would be better, but I won't hold my breath.

"The Book of Eli" starring Denzel Washington looked a lot like a Fallout movie.

Fallout has a deep enough universe..
It doesn't have to be a 'movie game', just a movie based on the same universe.

ah, another good video game to have a really bad movie based upon it. How do I know it will be bad? They all are, aren't they?

The corporate Hollywood guys with no imagination will make a cookie cutter, bland, unoriginal, cheesy movie, like all the rest, because they can. When there is a built in audience because of the game's popularity, all they have to do is pander to that crowd.
