A funny thing happened in the last week or so with The Saboteur, for me personally. After playing through Avatar the Game..wait excuse me James Cameron's Avatar The Game, and Rouge Warrior, I geared up for another stinker in The Saboteur. The setting is used up, the open world game type, been there… done that. Yet, what started out as task turned out to be a pleasure, as I soon began to feel less obligated to finish it for the review, and more engrossed in the game. Putting down my favorites right now to get a little further into the game and ultimately finish. Now I am not saying this game is as good as some of the recent masterpieces that have dropped but I had to make some serious judgement calls in dividing my personal game time away from L4D2 and CODMW2.
This is a nice collection of classic. EA has opened its vaults and released a series of classic PC games to Steam for the first time ever.
C&C Red Alert 3 and The Saboteur were two different yet completely unforgettable games to me from a better era of EA.
GF365: "Here are our picks for the ten most underrated third-person shooters that you might not have played before or even known about."
Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10
I hope one day we get some remakes for the following
The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)
Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time
I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.
The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.
The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.
Here's hoping for an amazing sequel
