New Gaming Magazine Killscreen Aims for the Brain

Wired: Print isn't dead. It's just getting a makeover.

More than a few new gaming magazines have threatened to go to press in the coming year. Future's forthcoming World of Warcraft magazine promises to deliver Azeroth-related scoops straight from Blizzard. Steve Harris, the original founder of EGM, says that a new magazine will rise from the old EGM's ashes (though the promised date of 2009 is almost gone).

For my money, the pulp and ink gaming offering to watch is Killscreen. The project, spearheaded by writers Jamin Brophy-Warren and Chris Dahlen, aims to deliver literary-minded games writing in a handsome, glossy format. Something like Amusement - except in a language we all can understand.

The story is too old to be commented.
