Nintendo Hosts Wii Father's Day Challenge

On June 16 Nintendo will be hosting Wii Father's Day Challenge at Nintendo World Store in Rockefeller Center, New York. The challenge will pit father-son teams against each other in Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree. Nintendo awards and prizes will be handed out throughout the event.

Arguably the catalyst for a momentous change of direction in the industry, Nintendo and Dr. Ryuta Kawashima’s Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? and their subsequent More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? have a lot to answer for in the current casual versus hardcore gamers struggle. Prior to Brain Training the hardcore had little need to worry that their needs and wants would be solely catered for; there were fewer girl gamers and very few educational games available that could hold the attention of children.
