Eurogamer.it: The announcement of Risen really caught us off guard. After all who would have imagined that after the bankruptcy Gothic 3, Piranha Bytes have decided to focus on a new project, putting aside his old franchise? The reasons for this are still a mystery, but the reality is that whilst it is a new IP, Risen has much in common with his more famous predecessor. Advantage? Not really. 5/10
